Big Thank You to Keep Richmond Beautiful and others - 3 October 2018

The Nelson Tasman Cycle Trails Trust would like to thank Keep Richmond Beautiful for their help with planting along the Great Taste Trail.
On 3rd October, A team of 13 KRB volunteers planted 700 Oioi along the 'Ravensdown' section of Great Taste Trail. Once established, these plants will provide protection to this section of trail which was damaged by Cyclone Fehi in February.
The Trust would also like to acknowledge the support of Titoki Nursery for providing advice on planting and offering a discounted rate on plants.
During October there will be work on the 'Te Raumanuka' section of trail in Motueka, and the 'Lower Queen St' section of trail between Nelson Pine Industries and Ravensdown. The Lower Queen St section will be sealed with concrete using funds from a grant from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment to repair and improve the Great Taste Trail following Cyclone Fehi.
Please keep an eye on the Heart of Biking News Page over the coming weeks for up to date trail closure and detour information.
