Hop Federation is a boutique craft brewery nestled in the heart of Riwaka, a small village located close to the Abel Tasman National Park. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, apple and cherry orchards as well as local hop growers, the brewery provides
the perfect location for locals and visitors to the region to stop at the tasting room and sample our range of beers. Approx 100mtrs off the main trail, the brewery is open 7 days a week from 11am and all tastings are complimentary.
We are located just a couple of kilometres off the Trail - head out of Brightwater towards Waimea West, cross the Wai-iti Bridge and follow the Winery sign down Palmer Road. We produce a wide range of wines - all the usual favourites plus some less usual varietals and styles like Semillon, Viognier, Pinot Blanc, vintage Methode Traditionnelle, and our unique red blend "Hui Whero". All wines are fully certified organic from the 2013 vintage.
Our cellar door is open November to end March; 11am to 4.30pm weekdays and selected weekends. Wine tasting is free of charge; there is always an interesting selection on the Bargain Barrel; we also display and sell local art.
After your visit, return to Richmond by a different route using the Waimea Walk/Cycleway located on the boundary of our vineyard.

Place your bike in the rack and relax in the cool tavern or sun yourself in the open air beer garden. You will feel most welcome in the S&F Motueka while you relax and gear up for the next part of your journey.
